Key Account Manager (FMCG)
Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and grow CVS and large-format accounts, driving commercial performance, in-store execution, and cross-functional collaboration across trade marketing, supply chain, and finance.
Qualification
●Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration and Marketing or related field.
●At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management.
●Preferable in FMCG, Personal Care, Pharmacy, and Grocery experienced.
●Deep understanding of CVS and large-format landscape.
●Strong negotiation, planning, and analytical skills.
●Experience managing and leading end-to-end execution and working cross-functionally.
●Strong understanding of customer journeys, retail integration, and channel dynamics.
●Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and translate into action.
●Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
●Agile, collaborative, and customer-focus.
Responsibility
●Develop and execute strategic account plans (JBP, business reviews) for CVS and large-format customers, building strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
●Drive sales growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (sell-in and sell-out) by brand and category.
●Optimize trade investment and customer profitability through effective margin, mix, and trade spend management with clear ROI accountability.
●Analyse and monitor promotional performance to improve return on investment and overall commercial efficiency.
●Ensure excellent in-store execution of 5Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, POSM) in line with agreed plans.
●Manage distribution, planogram compliance, product availability, and proactively resolve OOS issues at DC and store levels.
●Prepare accurate sales and demand forecasts, effectively managing inventory levels and returns.
●Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (trade marketing, marketing, finance, supply chain) and distributors to ensure business alignment.
●Analyse customer data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
●Provide timely internal reports, contribute to team objectives, and continuously improve processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
